Against the backdrop of the global Covid-19 outbreak, DEKS is continuously adapting to mitigate potential impacts for you and your customers.
We want to share with you some of our main actions we are taking to ensure the safety of our customers, your customers and our employees during the COVID-19 outbreak.
In the background we are working on mobilizing our business continuity plans, monitoring and responding to local conditions. Whilst we’ve had to put in place these extra measures, please be assured there are currently no disruptions to our operations. Our warehouse is still at full capacity and are ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner. As such, DEKS is maintaining delivery services nationally and also around the world in order to support your business during this unprecedented time.
THE SAFETY OF OUR CUSTOMERS: Non-Contact Deliveries.
Please kindly note, we have implemented a contact-less policy for pick-ups and deliveries. This means we are only able to provide proof of deliveries with names and times but not signatures, as we have suspended all manual signatures on delivery. We would also like to request your delivery drivers to remain seated in the vehicle at all times, if they were to visit DEKS for any collections. Additionally, we’ve setup 24 hours secure collection boxes for your convenience, in case of any emergencies.
THE SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES
In line with our “Safety First” principle, we are strictly following the guidelines laid down by the the state and federal governments. We have implemented a range of safety measures to protect our employees as recommended by the Department of Health and Safe Work Australia, to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
DEKS will continue to respond constructively to the needs of our customers and employees, and will continue to enhance our processes as the situation develops, in accordance with the local guidelines.
