This specially formulated repair clay is fast-setting and ideal to temporarily fix leaks, cracks and repatch steel parts. It is easy to mix by hand and once hardened, can be drilled, tapped, filled, machined, sanded, and painted. Hardens in 60 minutes, full cure (for maximum strength) occurs after 24 hours from application. The DEKS Steel repair clay is an ideal solution to temporarily fix exhaust systems, automotive parts, machine parts, stripped threads, and a wide variety of parts made from steel.
